"Sweet Nostalgia" – Conceptual Interview Project
This was a campaign created as part of an interview project, where I was asked to develop a dessert-side concept for the brand.
I explored the emotional connection between taste and memory - building the concept around the idea of “Sweet Nostalgia.”
With our sense of smell being one of the strongest triggers of memory, I wanted to tap into how desserts don’t just satisfy cravings - they evoke people, places, and moments in time. I envisioned a campaign that told human-centred stories: from a woman reconnecting with her Japanese heritage through traditional sweets, to someone reliving the joy of a chocolate cake shared on a first date.
The concept focused on emotional storytelling and cross-cultural relatability, making the product feel more personal and resonant.
Though I wasn’t ultimately offered the role, I remain proud of the depth of research, creativity, and sensitivity that shaped this project.
